AYSO Region 26 Board Meeting  - May 25, 2005

Attendees: Dave Elward, Mick Jordan, Maurice Bizzarri, Cindy Jose, Scott
Christenson, Marco Schuffelen, Marcelo Clerici-Arias, Margaret Toor, Jeff Harrison.


1. April minutes approved with changes on two dates.

2. Registration update. Dave brings the current registration numbers and the
comparison with the past two years. Jeff and the board members talk about
the field allocation meeting coming up in July.

3. Volunteer recruitment. Eight division commissioners have signed up for now.

4. Reminder - Golden Gate Camp - July 15-17

5. Commissioner comments
   - Cindy
     - Coach signups.
     - Updating the referee and coach pages.

   - Marcelo
     - Spring select teams. Flight to CYSA. National Games.

   - Mick
     - Spring select teams are relatively weaker. Losing talent to CYSA.
     - Coach training sessions. We will continue offering safe haven and
       not switch to the online session.

   - Maurice
     - Spring select season went well.

   - Margaret
     - Using the select rosters to adjust player ratings.

   - Marco
     - Problem between a field liner and a baseball coach.

   - Caroline
     - Number of teams practicing per park. Need to get an estimate for each park.
