Parents: The end of another soccer season is upon us and I hope that it was a good one for your child and that we will see your child next season. Once again, for the fourth season in a row we had over 2000 kids in the program. As most of you know, this is an all-volunteer organization and for those of you that volunteered your time to the organization, the board and I thank you. I am always looking for ways to improve our organization and I welcome your comments. Sometime in early December, I will be emailing you about a survey that we put out every year. The results from this survey help us in our planning for the upcoming season. Please consider spending a few minutes to fill out the survey. In the past, the participation has been extremely low. This year, I would like to see at least 50% participation. The more people that respond, the better. Open Board Positions: We are going to have a number of open board positions this coming year and I will be detailing them in the next newsletter in early December. Most positions donft require a lot of time, but having them all filled makes everyonefs life a lot easier. Banner Returns: RETURNING Soccer Banners to the Banner Closet. Please return your borrowed soccer banner to the soccer closet ASAP! REMEMBER you can donate your NEW banner to the closet as well. Leave them on the porch in bin provided. NO POLES, keep for next year. 1491 Arcadia Place, Palo Alto 1 block north of Channing/Newell intersection First house on the right. Photo Issues: If there are any issues with the AYSO Photos, please contact the photographer directly. His name is Steve Kalidonis and his email address is skalidonis@portraitefx.com. Equipment Return: If you are a coach and have not yet returned your equipment, please let me know. Palo Alto Utility Numbers: If you live in the city of Palo Alto and have not emailed me your utility number can you do so as soon as possible. The city will use these numbers to determine the percentage of kids that live in Palo Alto in our league. The higher the percentage the more field choices we get. Uniform Donations: Each year we have a large number of parents that are interested in donating cleats, uniforms, coach jerseys and keeper jerseys. If you or someone you know works with a charitable organization that would take this stuff, please let me know. IN the past we have made significant donations to cities in Mexico and Africa. Have a happy Thanksgiving Holiday and if you are traveling, travel safely. Saul Rotblatt Regional Commissioner
