Jim has been coaching since 2008, U8G to U12G originally for 5 years with Daughter Zoe up to U12G, and now with twins Haley and Heidi up to U10G. He has coached recreational, fall elite, spring select all as head coach and has been an assistant coach as well. For two seasons he was a head coach and an assistant coach for separate teams simultaneously. The 2013 fall elite U10G Netrippers team progressed very well, competed in multiple CYSA club tournaments, and went 2W-2T-0L in the AYSO Turkey Tournament. The 2014 U10G spring select Netrippers team has placed 2nd in the Presidents Cup and El Palo Alto tournaments, and 2nd in the PCSSL U10G first flight. It's been very rewarding coach a fun, talented and exciting group such as the Netrippers.
Jim is also a certified Regional Referee. Additional volunteering includes lining fields, fixing goals, replacing nets, and managing the tournament keeper wars for U10G or U12G.
Best moments in AYSO were getting second place for U10G in the Presidents cup tournament and seeing daughter Zoe win Keeper Wars at the 2013 El Palo Alto tournament. Looking forward to many more memorable coaching moments.
