Parents:

The first week of the season has come and gone and except for a few rain drops, I hope that it was a fun Saturday and that your child had a great time.

Kinder league teams are still being formed. Registration closes on September 19th. The first gpracticeh will be on Saturday October 3rd at 3 PM at JLS.

This year there will be three photo days. For the kinder league, it will be on October 10th. For all other divisions, it will be on either October 3rd or October 17th. Your coach will let you know which day and time. If it turns out that you cannot make the appointed time, you can still come any time on the 3rd or 17th to get the individual photo taken.

We do need help on the photo days. If you have not yet volunteered for anything and can spare a couple of hours, please let me know. Let me know which of the three days you can help out. Our photo coordinators will then get back to you with details.

When you come to the games on Saturdays, you will notice the nicely painted white lines. These lines are refreshed every week to keep them looking good. Unfortunately, this doesnft happen by itself. It requires volunteers willing to spend an hour or so every Thursday or Friday for three weeks. This is an excellent volunteer opportunity if you have not yet volunteered for anything (or even if you have). Each person will be responsible for one field for three weeks.

The first shift will cover September 25th, October 2nd and October 9th.

The second shift will cover October 16th, October 23rd, and October 30th.

The third shift will cover November 6th, November 13th and November 20th.

The fields are:

El Carmelo
Hoover School
Walter Hays
Fairmeadow
Hoover Park
Duveneck
Ramos
Greer #1
Greer #2
Greer #3
Greer #4

If you can volunteer for one of these fields, please let me know which field and which shift you prefer. I need 12 people per shift.

Thanks,

Saul Rotblatt
Regional Commissioner
