Tournaments
There are several more or less local AYSO sponsored tournaments each year,
outside of the regular Fall season, that provide
AYSO referees a chance to do some extra officiating. Some of these tournaments may
feature "select" teams and can be quite challenging; others are closer to
pick up games and are serious fun. The Region 26 pages contain a list of AYSO affiliated
tournaments
in the local area. If you're interested, ask the listed contact person
for more details about the tournament to see if it's to your taste and ability.
One tournament of special note is the
Section 2 Soccerfest.
This is held at the start of each season (usually Labor Day weekend) and is a great way
to kick off the Fall.
