Welcome to the AYSO El Palo Alto Invitational Tournament. If there is anything we can do to make your visit more enjoyable please don't hesitate to email us at elpaloalto@ayso26.org, or phone us at 650-735-1493 and leave your email address with a message.  

Field Locations and Guidelines
The Tournament places both teams on one side of the field, and spectators on the other side of the field.  The exception is JLS, where there is not sufficient space to be on the opposite side of the field.  We ask that you do not situate yourself between the fields, and to stay on the outside perimeter of the four fields.  Please keep 3 yards away from the touchline and spectators, do not wander behind the goals.  Photography should be taken from the spectator area.  A team may designate a single person to photograph near the end of the field, off the touchline by 1 yard.

Game Schedule
The games are scheduled on several fields and the schedule for each team can be found online, on the Tournament Scoreboards.  The results of games will be posted to these online scoreboards, typically within 10-15 minutes of a game being concluded and reported.  Access the Tournament Scoreboards at the lower left of this page, here.

Timetable
Teams and spectators need to clear the field quickly at the end of a game, to enable the next scheduled game to start on time.  We ask that you ensure your team and spectators have cleared the field and touchline area at least 5 minutes prior to the start time of the next game, earlier if at all possible.  If time is tight, teams should do their cheer and handshake off-field, clear of the touchlines.

General
  • Parking in Palo Alto is free.  But,
  • There are funny parking rules downtown, about how long you park in a color-coded zone (typically 2 hours in one business hour day).  Pay attention to the color of the zone you are in, and don't think moving your car to another place in the same zone cuts it.  Doesn't.  Visualize a computerized golf cart driving around decoding all the license plates it passes.
  • Pets are not permitted at the fields.
  • There are two dog parks shown on the flier, adjacent to El Palo Alto major fields, JLS and Greer.  Dogs may run free of the leash in the dog parks.
  • Your players must assemble with their team at the Field Marshal station at least 20 minutes prior to the game for safety inspection and check-in.  Be sure to coordinate with your coach.
  • Each field will have a Field Marshal station.  If you have any questions or need help, please consult the Field Marshal.
