Soccerfest is a great opportunity to play pick-up soccer on Saturdays during the summer. No formal coaching or refereeing, and the teams are formed ad-hoc from whoever shows up to play. Just great soccer fun. You are not required to stay the entire two hours, but it helps planning and is great fun, if you do.
AYSO provides the venue, equipment, supervision and Safe Haven certified monitors. There will be multiple games for the players depending on how many show up on a particular day. Commonly:
Note: A signed copy of your AYSO registration form is required for your first attendance, and will be kept for future sessions. Kids may not play without a signed form.
Where and When: Greer Park from 10:00 am to noon. Note: A Soccerfest session will only be held if there are enough volunteers to cover the session. Check the schedule in the Regional Calendar to be sure the session is on.
You may attend any or all of the sessions that you want.

Promptly pickup your child at noon. Please don't keep volunteers hanging around waiting for you.
Bring: Cleats recommended. Water and sun screen recommended. Shin Guards required. Soccer-safe shoes required. AYSO registration form required first time you attend.

We need help to sign in the players and monitor the fields for safety. No soccer experience is required. If we don't get enough volunteers for any particular Saturday, we cannot hold Soccerfest that day. Any youth, parent, coach or referee who would like to help for any of the Soccerfest sessions check the box of the sessions you can cover by logging in and reviewing the openings on the Parent / Volunteer menu.
