Add Your AYSO26 Account to Mail

You may use your Regional AYSO26 eMail account from your browser by logging into your account at http://mail.ayso26.org.

You may also tie your account to your eMail client as below, permitting you to do Regional email from your desktop eMail tool.



For Mac iMail Users

  1. Open your iMail program
  2. Goto Mail/Preferences panel

Accounts Panel

  1. Click the + button on the lower left to add an account
  2. Enter the Full Name that you want to use to refer to the  account, such as Spring
  3. Enter the Email Address of the account, such as spring10g1@ayso26.org
  4. Enter the password for your account
  5. Press the Continue button

Incoming Mail Server Panel

  1. Select Account Type as IMAP
  2. Enter a Description of your choice
  3. Set the Incoming Mail Server as imap.gmail.com
  4. Set the User Name as your email address, such as spring10g1@ayso26.org
  5. Enter the Password
  6. Click the Continue button

Incoming Mail Security Panel

  1. The SSL box should be checked
  2. Authentication selection of Password
  3. Click the Continue button

Outgoing Mail Server Panel

  1. Enter a Description of your choosing
  2. Set the Outgoing Mail Server as smtp.gmail.com
  3. Click the Use Authentication checkbox
  4. Enter your User Name as your full email address, such as spring10g1@ayso26.org
  5. Enter your Password
  6. Click the Continue button

Account Summary Panel

  1. Check the box Take Account Online
  2. Click the button, Create
The email account should now appear in your list of accounts.  Close the Accounts panel and see the new account listed in your  Inbox area.

For Outlook and Entourage Users

  1. Launch Outlook or Entourage
  2. Goto Tools/Account Settings
  3. Click New... in the E-mail tab

Choose E-mail Service Panel

  1. Click Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP
  2. Click Next

Auto Account Setup Panel

  1. Select the checkbox in the bottom left for Manually configure server settings....
  2. Click the Next button

Choose E-mail Service Panel

  1. Select the Internet E-mail radio button
  2. Click the Next button

Internet E-mail Settings Panel

  1. Enter Your Name as any identifier text, such as AYSO
  2. Enter E-mail Address as your full address, such as spring10g1@ayso26.org
  3. Select Account Type as IMAP
  4. Set the Incoming mail server as imap.gmail.com
  5. Set the Outgoing mail server as smtp.gmail.com
  6. Set the User Name as your full email address, such as spring10g1@ayso26.org
  7. Enter your password
  8. Press the Test Account Settings button
  9. Click the Next button

  1. Click Finish
  2. Click Close
