The Equipment Locker
The equipment locker has shelving along both walls and a roll-out wooden shelving unit. To the back of the locker are team bags of balls, and above them on shelves are unopened boxes of balls, field lining carts, and field survey equipment.
Balls in the Back
The balls are organized with size 3 and 4 on the left, and size 5 on the right. There should be enough ball bags and balls for each team. When taking balls in at the end of season, be sure to stack the ball bags as far back in as possible. The bay will fill up and overflow otherwise. When putting ball bags away, be sure there are 10 balls in #3 bags, 12 balls in #4 bags, and 14 balls in #5 bags.
Along the Left Wall
At the front on the shelves are corner flags. Near the middle on the bottom are first aid kits. Small ones for small teams, larger ones for the U12 and up. Near the back are the team banners, in plastic bins. If a coach wants to look at banners, take a few bins outside and let the coaches rummage through them.
Along the Right Wall
On the right wall in the front and middle are field maintenance supplies. You can ignore these. Near the back are the goalie gloves, in plastic bins, sorted by size. Be sure to NOT let coaches come for gloves.
On the Wooden Rolling Shelf
The right hand side has the goalie jerseys. They are sorted by size in different bins. On the left are the pinnies. There are other miscellaneous items, such as kinder sockets, balls pumps, ice packs and cones. Items on the wooden rolling shelf are self-serve by the coaches.
What do the Teams Get?
These are recommended amounts. Coaches may take more equipment at their discretion. We do not track what equipment the coaches take, we operate on the honor system for coaches to take care of our equipment and to return it.
