An administrative role assisting the CVPA during registration to review volunteer forms for completeness, marking the volunteers as accepted in eAYSO, and sending an acceptance email to the volunteer. Commitment is 1 hour per week during registration, up to 4 hours per week at peak time.
Receiving Volunteer Applications
Volunteer applications are mailed to our PO Box. They will be retrieved from the box and a portion of them will be distributed to you for processing.
Checking Volunteer Applications
Each application must be checked for completeness. There must be two copies, both signed. If any form appears to be incomplete or in error, put it aside for the CVPA. Completeness includes all the information in the top region of the form identifying the volunteer. Be sure it includes an email address. If it doesn't, put the form aside for the CVPA. A professional and personal reference must be indicated, each with complete contact information. Finally, check that the box near the bottom for the question "Have you ever been convicted of a crime?" is checked no. Otherwise, set it aside for the CVPA.
