The President's Council
on Service and Civic Participation
was established in 2003 to recognize the valuable contributions volunteers are making in our communities and to encourage more people to serve. The Council created the President’s Volunteer Service Award program as a way to thank and honor Americans who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service.
We would like to especially recognize volunteers in our community. You may include your non-AYSO and non Palo Alto volunteer contribution in our program, and get recognized.
Youth volunteers may get their community service hours signed-off for school, and PALY and Gunn youth volunteers are especially honored by the Palo Alto AYSO when they graduate from high school. During Community Service recognition at their school, we are pleased to present;
AYSO is proud to express its appreciation of our youths' contribution toward our community. To be recognized, Youth volunteers must record their hours here.
