plAYSOccer in Palo Alto! We are one of the American Youth Soccer Organization's (AYSO) oldest regional programs, as well as the oldest soccer program in Palo Alto, and still kicking it! Our volunteer based non-profit organization provides quality youth soccer programs that focus that puts the emphasis on fun! Boys and Girls in preK-12 are placed on teams organized by birth year.
The length and demands of each program we provide vary by age division and program category but generally we offer a Fall Season that runs from August through Nov/Dec, and a Spring Season that runs from February to May/June.
Our programs include:
Recreational (Rec) Soccer: Any level of experience is welcome, from beginners at any age to experienced players looking for a fun environment focused on development and teamwork. The recreational program seeks to create balanced teams and ensures that all players participate no less than 50% of each game.
Select Soccer: For experienced competitive players, AYSO Palo Alto offers tryout based teams with opportunities to play against other competitive teams from U10 and older. We offer both Spring and Fall admission to the Select soccer. Participation in the program requires a higher level of commitment as well as extra costs to cover tournament fees.
VIP: For those whose abilities prevent them from being part of mainstream teams
Fall 2024 Recreational Soccer
Fall Recreational registration will be opened in May. We expect to have programs for birth years 2019 and older. If you are interested in helping to coordinate and lead the U6 or younger (2019 or younger) program, please contact Pete at rc@ayso26.org to discuss.
Please note that we place children on teams/programs based on their birth year, not their age, or school grade level. When sending inquiries about your child's program, please include the year that they were born.
