2023 Fall Soccer Programs
Please read all these details before registering so you understand our placement and cancellation/refund policies
The link is below and will take you to a separate (national) site to manage registration payment.
Palo Alto AYSO is now organizing teams for Fall Recreational play and taking registration for both Recreational and accepted Select player teams. We expect to also open up registration for VIP by August. Learn more about our programs below.
At present, we have volunteers to support some of our core soccer programs and are looking for more volunteers - particularly parent coaches and referees before we open others. Divisions open for registration are noted below
We need one parent to help coordinate organization of the U6 and U5 divisions before registration can be opened. Role would involve helping to create formation of teams, scheduling, coordinating with coaches. Please contact rc@ayso26.org if interested.
U14 Boys coach needed! We have players interested however, if a parent volunteer is not found, we will not be able to open registration for this division. For recreational options, we can recommend nearby AYSO regions offering U14.
For U16 and U19, it is unlikely that we will be able to offer programs this fall due to low numbers of players. Mountain View and Menlo Park are viable options nearby.
AYSO Soccer Programs
We provide a variety of soccer programs to meet different needs and experience levels for all ages of children. In keeping with the AYSO philosophy, everyone participates, and everyone plays; whether in a early training program or a competitive team, all players will find opportunities to play and be involved on the field. Volunteer driven, we encourage and provide training for everyone to have a role to support children's soccer as coaches, referees, or other areas of support.
Recreational Soccer (U6 through U19)
Designed for players of all abilities and experiences, recreational soccer strives to create balanced teams with opportunities for all players to develop and improve their experience on the soccer field. For U6 and U8 programs, games are typically local to Palo Alto while U10 and up may play neighboring regions.

Competitive (Select) Soccer (U10 though U19)
Palo Alto AYSO provides quality competitive opportunities for players who have proven experience or want to commit to a program that provides more opportunities to play at an Elite level. More tournaments and further travel may be involved.
Playground Soccer (U5 and U4)
For our newest players, we provide a fun filled games based experience that gets the kids started with kicking the ball and getting a feel for playincgsoccer.
VIP Soccer
The Palo Alto AYSO VIP Program provides a quality soccer experience for children and adults, whose disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams.
Registration is free.
Age Divisions placement for Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 seasons
AYSO age divisions are determined by birth year not school grade level.
When making an inquiry about placement in a age division, please refer to the following chart and reference your child's birth year. Your child's team placement will be based upon the division that their birth date falls under.
