Palo Alto AYSO  is now organizing teams for Fall Recreational play  and taking registration for both Recreational and accepted Select player teams.  We expect to also open up registration for VIP by August.   Learn more about our programs below.

At present, we have volunteers to support some of our core soccer programs and are looking for more volunteers - particularly parent coaches and referees before we open others.  Divisions open for registration are noted below

The program offers a gentle introduction to soccer and organized team sports with one weekly session offered each Sunday morning from 10-11 am at Peers Park that will include practice, fun drills, and a short match.  The program focuses on a positive first experience for kids trying out soccer and team sports.  AYSO follows principles of positive coaching, player development, and  gives everyone the opportunity to play. Parent participation and involvement in training will also be essential. The program will start with a parent meeting on Sunday, September 8th at 10 am at Peers Park, and will run from September 15th through November 10th.  AYSO is a volunteer organization and this provides a fun way for parents to join in and participate with their kids.  No soccer experience is needed to play in the league or volunteer.

AYSO Soccer Programs

We provide a variety of soccer programs to meet different needs and experience levels for all ages of children.  In keeping with the AYSO philosophy, everyone participates, and everyone plays; whether in a early training program or a competitive team,  all players will find opportunities to play and be involved on the field.     Volunteer driven, we encourage and provide training for everyone to have a role to support children's soccer as coaches, referees, or other areas of support.

Recreational Soccer (U6  through U19)

Designed for players of all abilities and experiences, recreational soccer strives to create balanced teams with opportunities for all players to develop and improve their experience on the soccer field.  For U6 and U8 programs, games are typically local to Palo Alto while U10 and up may play neighboring regions.

When making an inquiry about placement in a age division, please refer to the following chart and reference your child's birth year.  Your child's team placement will be based upon the division that their birth date falls under.
