Volunteer for AYSO
Help to make AYSO run for all our kids!
AYSO is a volunteer driven organization and although not everyone may want to help and be a coach, there are many ways for everyone to help serve our kids and make great soccer experiences happen.
For Coaching, Assistant Coaching, and Referee roles, the journey begins by signing up to volunteer in SportsConnect where you register your child. You may be the primary parent account used to sign up your player(s) or an associated account. Either way, you will click on the "Volunteer" section in the left hand menu and select a volunteer role.
Please fill in the volunteer form completely and when you application has been successfully submitted and processed, you will be enabled with access to training materials through eTrainU. Please reference the Volunteer Training Guide to learn how to use eTrainU for both online and sign-up for in-Person training.

We understand, it's a big commitment to make while signing up your player for soccer, to also volunteer to coach. Spring 2023 Livescan Fingerprinting Events!

Signups for all these events are at https://www.applicantservices.com/AYSO-BILLED and attached are signup instructions from the fingerprinting vendor. Please send this out to all your new volunteers that need to get fingerprinted and have them signup for an appointment as soon as possible. Note that if they’ve been previously fingerprinted for AYSO, they do not need to do it again. This is only for those volunteers that have not previously been fingerprinted by AYSO.

Volunteer Compliance
LiveScan Fingerprinting Services: As of 1/1/2022, as per CA AB 506, all regular volunteers working with children are required to have fingerprinting on file with Live Scan Services.
We have made arrangements with UPS Palo Alto (T&C) to make this a three step procedure that will take a quick in and out at UPS that you can visit at your convenience.
